PMI Victorian History Library Inc.
The Friends of the PMI Victorian History Library work as a close-knit team and are responsible for managing our book sale and history showcase, shelving returned books, running family history workshops and our book club. We are looking for a Deputy Coordinator to train under our Coordinator Wendy Eldridge, to run the Friends when she is absent and to help manage the Friends on a day to day basis.
Prahran Place
Neighbourly Ride is a free, community led cycling initiative designed to help people get active and socially connected. We organise short, leisurely group rides, stopping for a chat at a local café. Everyone is welcome – from kids and international students to new migrants and those new to cycling.
Christ Church Mission Community Centre (St Kilda Little Mission)
Volunteer gardeners are needed to assist socially isolated, frail or disabled people with garden maintenance duties. Tools and support provided, some training available. Large vehicle such as Ute, Van, 4WD or Station Wagon suited to carrying a lawn mower and other garden tools.
Christ Church Mission Community Centre (St Kilda Little Mission)
On a Monday our Neighbour Connect Program group for over 55s meets to chat, sing, listen to guest speakers, reminisce, and ultimately enjoy a delicious nutritious lunch. Volunteers assist with the set-up of the event, preparation of lunch and to join in the group to encourage conversations.

Sacred Heart Mission is a local Melbourne charity focused on alleviating disadvantage, social exclusion, and homelessness. Volunteering in our Op Shops is absolutely crucial to the rest of the Mission as they provide the funding that allows our other services to run.
