About the role As a new charity here in Australia, securing donations and sponsorships from local businesses or larger companies is a crucial step for our growth. For this reason, we are looking for grants writers with outstanding communication skills. This is a volunteer position reporting to the Fundraising Coordinator.

What you will do: • Research and identify potential government, corporate and other funders. • Submit well-researched, well-documented and well-written grant/sponsorship proposals. • Write reports to government, corporate and other funders. • Act as a liaison to funding agencies and organizations.

You will bring: • Ability to compose well-researched, well-documented and well-written grant/sponsorship proposals. • Organisational skills, including the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Communicate confidently and effectively (through oral and written form) • Ability to work independently and autonomously • Experience in writing grants for not-for-profit organizations will be highly regarded.
