About this opportunity
You can be a part of something special; a team that helps deliver Around the Bay - Ride for a Child in Need. This is THE event where Melbourne unites to celebrate cycling and raise funds for the Smith Family and this year, it’s extra festive as we’re celebrating it’s 25-year anniversary.
You won't just get that warm and fuzzy feeling, you'll be helping kids who need our help.
Volunteers are such a vital element to Around the Bay and without the efforts of people like you – the day wouldn’t be possible, nor nearly as fun!
From Queenscliff to Sorrento there are 10,000 riders and a phenomenal team of 400-plus dedicated helpers; It’s a great thing to be a part of and there’s a role to suit everybody.
To find out more about the event, the different roles and how to sign up, all you need to do is express an interest down the bottom of the page and we’ll send you everything you need to know.
No skills required.
You can be enthusiastic, punctual and please wear appropriate weather gear.
The Volunteer briefing session is at our offices on Tuesday, 3 Oct at 5.45pm. It's not compulsory, more an opportunity to share a beer with fellow volunteers and ask questions.
