Corporate or Group Volunteering - Toy Donation Sorting

Community Service Short Term Doveton VIC
Accessible

About this opportunity

Every Christmas The Salvation Army, in partnership with Kmart, receives thousands of generous donations of toys for Christmas from the public. These toys need to be categorised and stored, and then eventually matched to children and teens of families doing it tough. This is a huge undertaking and relies on volunteer groups to ensure it runs efficiently and smoothly. This is the ideal corporate or club group volunteering activity as it is quick to learn and there's a real sense of achievement by the end of a single day.

Suits active types who have a resonable level of fitness to allow for standing during the activity, along with some lifting involved.

Please provide a brief description of your team - number of people and preferred dates.
