Enjoy to great outdoors and get to meet new people whilst helping out in the environment. Activities include weeding, rubbish removal at various locations The Beach Scrub Project aims to promote conservation of beach scrub semi-evergreen vine thickets, an endangered ecosystem that’s crucial for reducing erosion and preserving strong ecological diversity. Join the team and explore areas up and down the coast from Townsville. You will get to see out of the way places and help conserve these unique areas by collecting rubbish and removing invasive weeds.

When you participate in one of our conservation projects, you are placed in teams of up to 10 volunteers on projects in urban, regional and remote locations. Team Leaders provide training on-site. Activities include: Tree planting Walking trail construction Wildlife surveys Seed collection Weed control Conservation fencing Heritage restoration

Some projects are daily, meet at our office at Pallarenda and enjoy a day or two in the great outdoors. Some are week long camping departing Townsville in February to May 2018 Various locations: Magnetic Island Bowen Cape Upstart Crystal Creek
