    · Build and establish a rapport with our participants and provide appropriate referral when needed
    · Has demonstrated knowledge and experience working with and engaging at risk youth.
    · Certificate IV in Youth Work or Community Services and/or extensive work related experience
    · Current Senior First Aid Certificate (a willingness to obtain)

Who We Are: The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres (PCYC) is a not for profit organisation providing direction and opportunities to Western Australia’s youth. The Organisation consists of ten metropolitan and 14 regional based centres.



Volunteer role Description:
This program is designed to provide a safe place for at risk youth. In this role, you will be required to assist at risk youth through engaging with and providing assertive and intensive support to the youth who may have mental health illnesses or issues.

We are looking for Youth Workers who will:
· Encourage and facilitate the engagement of participants in our programs
· Build and establish a rapport with our participants and provide appropriate referral when needed
· Has demonstrated knowledge and experience working with and engaging at risk youth.
· Certificate IV in Youth Work or Community Services and/or extensive work related experience
· A valid C Class Manual driving license (a LR license would be a definite advantage).
· Current Senior First Aid Certificate (a willingness to obtain)
· Working with Children Check & National Police Clearance (ability to obtain both)
