Revitalising Sir Joseph Banks Park

Environment & Conservation A few days Botany NSW

About this opportunity

This area has been affected by serious environmental degradation in the past and we are here to give it a helping hand and to make it an incredible place to be for the local community, recreation, education and conservation awareness.

There’s lots to be done! Removing invasive species, maintenance of the walking trails, litter collection, mulching and site preparation for community planting events, planting of native species and even wildlife monitoring are just a few.

Please wear sturdy shoes/boots, long pants, and long sleeve shirts. Hats, sunscreen, and water are a must.
