Tropical North Girl Guides needs a Grant Writer to assist with Region funding applications to ensure a sustainable organisation and to continue to support the work of Guides in our Tropical North Community of Queensland. Experience of grant writing would be advantageous, but a willingness to learn and an eager 'let's go get them!' personality would be equally as acceptable.

This position is flexible and will work closely with the Region Manager and Region Treasurer as well as assisting with grants for the Region Camp-Site (Garradunga), to source and apply for grants from State and Federal government and philanthropic organisations.

Flexibility can be provided with volunteer times and hours and support. Knowledge of Girl Guides or a similar youth organisation would be useful, but not necessary.
