Bask in the sun at the  Nepean River with other local volunteers! Like you and I, the Eastern Water Dragon enjoys a good swim  and a lazy day in the sun, but its habitat at Tench Reserve is under threat!
We'll be removing invasive plant species from along the river banks, stopping for cups of tea, good banter and a free BBQ. Help contribute to the restoration of vital habitat, while also helping to improve the health of the whole river.

We’ll be down at Tench Reserve on these days—why not join us for a few hours!

Friday 14th & Wednesday 26th September
Tuesday 2nd & Wednesday 3rd October

Complimentary pick-up at Penrith Station 8:30 am or meet onsite at the corner Tench Ave and Jamison Road at 9:00 am. The rescue event will conclude at 2:30 pm, but feel free to help out for as little or as long as you please! Children 7 years and over are welcome. Oh and we’ll be having a free BBQ.
