Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.
Do you have a couple of spare hours during the week? We have a MALTESE LADY in an Aged Care facility in WERRIBEE who would benefit from receiving friendship from a MALTESE SPEAKING FEMALE VISITOR during the week. She enjoys .Enjoys chatting about Malta with a cuppa, enjoys sewing with wool and hessian, and colouring in her mindfulness books.
You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.
Good Maltese communication skills required.
