About this opportunity
This position is the first point of contact for clients/visitors and will provide reception and basic administrative services to support the organisation.
The Volunteer Reception/Administration Support role tasks will be including but not limited to.
Undertake reception duties including welcoming visitors to reception, referring clients/guests to appropriate staff, taking messages and providing information about COTA Victoria as required; Sort and disseminate incoming and outgoing mail;
Maintain filing and archiving systems;
Schedule and coordinate meetings when required ;
Maintain databases where required;
Special projects as assigned;
Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times
The working days and hours are flexible and can vary from 1 day per week, 3hrs to 6hrs per day.
All volunteers are covered for out of pocket expenses and by COTA's volunteer insurance program
National Police Certificate *.
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Good organisational skills and attention to detail;
Previous customer service experience;
Solid administrative experience including use of databases;
Confident use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook;
Reliable, Punctual and Mature High attention to detail
Positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Satisfactory criminal records check, prior to role commencing.
