About the role
'Colouring Dreams' is an experience of personal development that aims to help children with functional diversity (physical or mental) and diseases in the development of their sense of identity. Through the healing properties of art, this program helps children identify their dreams in unfavourable circumstances, connect with them and express their emotions. Through the process of drawing in the House to Grow pyjamas, which our foundation has designed for this project, and where the participants paint their dreams, the children will create a “concept of themselves” within their environment. The program runs for eight weeks with a session once a week and aims to start with a new group every time we come to the end of the eight weeks.
The next Colouring Dreams Program will start beginning of February 2019. The first task of the Program Manager will be to reach out to communities, schools, councils, other charities… as well as go on the field and be ready to meet families to introduce the program.
Once the program has started, you will lead the day to day logistics: assuring communication with the families, coordinate the paperwork with our administration coordinator, ensure the good progress of the workshops, gather feedback from families and maintain relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the new group can start smoothly.
You will bring • An energetic and enthusiastic personality, you will be the voice and face of the Colouring Dreams program • Negotiation skills, despite the fact it’s a free program, you need to convince the families of the benefits of the program • Communicate confidently and effectively (through oral and written form) • Excellent team player, as you will be asked to work in strong collaboration with all the other departments from our organization • Ability to work autonomously and delivery in time • Well organized and flexible
