Volunteer Victim Support Worker

    • National Police Certificate *
    • Working with Children Check *

    Volunteers need to have good listening skills and be non-judgemental and willing to learn.

    Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)

    * May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.

Volunteers duties may be involve ~ organising home re secures from our qualified pool of contractors ~ offering emotional support and provide information about services available ~ refer to our crisis counsellors ~ support victims through the court process ~ assist staff at events

Volunteers required from all walks of life and ages. No formal qualification is required. Many roles are available.
