Case Manager Co-ordinator

Reports To The Case Manager Co-ordinator will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Overview The Case Manager Co-ordinator will oversee the case management within the organization and liaise between the board, CEO and case managers. Responsibilities and Duties • Assign individual cases to Case Managers • Supervise Case Managers • Offer appropriate training, guidance and support to Case Managers • Resolve any conflicts/complaints about case management • In consultation with CEO, select appropriate applicants for case managers • Monitor emails, telephone calls, facebook messages etc regarding incoming cases and action as appropriate • Ensure appropriate documentation is completed for each case • Maintain records relating to current cases and report to the CEO (weekly) and board (monthly) regarding cases

Skills/Experience • Must have good communication skills including verbal and written • Ability to act calmly in crisis situations • Must be a problem solver and be able to think outside the box • An understanding of domestic violence, mental health issues and homelessness is preferred • Good time management skills and an ability to meet a deadline are essential • Previous case management experience preferred but training will be offered • Conflict resolution experience preferred, however, training and support will be available • Ability to lead and manage a team • Good record keeping skills are important

While some form of appropriate qualification is preferred, it is not essential. Training will be provided.
