    Good Gear Shop is currently open Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am to 3pm. The Coordinator would be required to attend for at least part of each day, subject to individuals availability.

    Key Skills Required:
    Basic understanding of sale principles and customer service practices.Retail and customer experience desirable but not essential. Interpersonal skills, particularly with an ability and willingness to effectively work with a diverse range of people. Good communication skills. Being willing to work within a Christian context.

This volunteer position is for a least 3 days per week. It's main purpose is to work collaboratively as part of existing teams to promote sales and delivery of outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities will be to maintain the welcoming environment in a non-judgmental, friendly and helpful manner. Treating all people with respect is a must. Ensure a clean and safe shop environment is maintained for comfort of customers and volunteers alike.
Receive, sort and price donated goods inline with procedures. Ensure stock is well displayed and rotated regularly.
Manage a team of volunteers with the support of the Church Office. Assist with cash handling in line with policy and procedures.
Adhere to workplace health and safety measures, policies and procedures
