Our vision is to provide education opportunities for young women with potential, so they can drive change in their developing communities. Responsibilities • Develop and implement Gomo’s financial and risk management strategies • Ongoing development and monitoring of electronic donations system • Manage Gomo’s budgeting and forecasting processes • Oversee Gomo’s transaction processing systems • Find opportunities to improve Gomo’s financial management landscape • Actively participates in team and operations meetings • Maintain relations with external auditors • Oversee the issuance of financial reports and regular updates to Management team and Directors

We hope for at least two years of service from our Finance Manager position, due to the knowledge and financial access afforded to this role. We expect this role to have peaks and troughs throughout the course of each month, with approximately 6 hours of support required per month. At the end of financial year, additional work hours may be required for reporting and auditing purposes.

Skills and Experience Requirements • Previous position/s in a financial controller role • Minimum five years experience in financial operations • CPA or CFA qualification preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain deadlines of tasks • Be comfortable with meetings over the phone.
