    Our State Director of People & Culture (Qld) will be required to dedicate 8 hours per week to this role.

The State Director of People & Culture is essentially the human resources manager for the state. They are in charge of volunteer recruitment (developing position descriptions, interview schemas and running interviews), six-monthly performance reviews of state volunteers (working with the National P&C Director), managing volunteer conduct, and volunteer self-care and welfare. They are also responsible for sourcing in-state volunteer training and event opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators
• Hold fortnightly meetings with the National Director of People & Culture
• Run state-level recruitment and interviews
• Assist the National Director of People & Culture to hold six monthly performance reviews of all volunteers
• Assist the National Director and National Director of People & Culture to develop and implement organisational policy and practices
• Arrange for state team skills training workshops (six annually)
• Arrange for one event/engagement opportunity per volunteer annually (eg; representing OWP at an event)
• Encourage a positive team culture and working environment
• Submit one article (minimum) to the monthly ‘what’s up!’ internal newsletter
