All you need to bring with you is food and plenty of water for the day, and appropriate clothing for being out and about in the great outdoors: long pants, long sleeved shirt, a hat, and sturdy shoes. All equipment, safety gear and tools are provided by CVA

Come join CVA, for a fantastic day, helping to water some plants on a site that has lots of environmental significance!

We are helping a local community group restore an area of degraded box-gum grassy woodland near Burra NSW. Box-Gum grassy woodland is a highly degraded endangered ecosystem that has been fragmented due to its suitability as farmland. This ecosystem is also home to a verity of threatened and endangered flora and fauna like the Scarlet Robin and Pink-tailed worm-lizard. All our efforts will the ecosystem flourish again and help save these species for future generations. Our efforts will be directed towards watering and maintain a previous planting and helping it to flourish!

Come along and join us for what promises to be an engaging and interesting project.

What you can expect:

-Helping the environment

-Great views of Canberra and the Brindabella Mountains

-Being out in nature for a day

-Meeting interesting people

-Recognition of your efforts
