Role Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management

  • Utilize sales data to manage, develop, and serve existing accounts
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all customers
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and convert into new accounts
  • Establish favourable trading terms with all accounts, managing both sales and GP KPI’s
  • Establish a call cycle to visit existing accounts on site to review performance, evaluate new opportunities, and assist with effective merchandising in store
  • Develop in store support collateral in line with brand guidelines to help tell the SisterWorks story
  • Provide training on SisterWorks products and our organisation
  • Manage our food tasting program across key Grocery accounts with support from volunteers and entrepreneurs
  • Enter all orders into systems, liaise with Stock Coordinator on dispatch, and ensure secure and timely delivery into stores
  • Set up new account details and contacts in SisterWorks systems
  • Resolve all customer queries, field all feedback, and provide solutions for any issues
  • Complete other sales related ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as required by the organisation

Reporting and Forecasting

  • Produce and present weekly report on sales and GP performance to the organisation
  • Provide forward sales forecasts by product for the channel to the Operations and Production teams monthly
  • Provide additional analysis and commentary on channel performance as required

Product Development and Ranging

  • Assist accounts to select appropriate range of products, monitor sell through and service replenishment orders
  • Discuss price and suitability of products for the SisterWorks shop and provide product development feedback to the organisation
  • Identify new product opportunities through a strong understanding of our markets and competitors

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a customer facing role essential
  • Experience working with ERP / Accounting / Sales Reporting software essential
  • Strong Excel and Word skills essential
  • Previous experience of being accountable for sales and GP targets, with proven success meeting these KPI’s essential
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset essential
  • Previous successful experience of wholesale channel / key account management highly desirable
  • Previous experience reporting on sales performance and interpreting financial data to identify trends and opportunities highly desirable
  • Experience working in the FMCG / Grocery sector an advantage
  • Experience working in a high growth small - medium sized enterprise valuable
  • Experience contributing to and executing new processes an advantage
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills
  • Previous experience working in a social enterprise setting desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of SisterWorks Inc.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated flexibility in working both autonomously and within teams

Compulsory requirements:

  • Availability across Mon - Fri (30 hours per week) until July 2019
