    Board members are required to commit to a 12 month term and attend monthly Board Meetings (generally a couple of hours each month). Other days and times can be negotiated with the committee.

    The successful applicants will be forward thinkers who don't shy away from creativity, innovation and collaboration. With a passion for events and the local region, the successful applicants will also demonstrate:
    -Excellent written and communication skills
    -Event or Project Management experience (preferred but not essential)
    -Marketing and Promotion experience (preferred but not essential)
    -Understanding of Governance
    -Availability to attend monthly Board meetings (in person)
    -Availability to assist during the event (held at the end of October each year)
    -The right to work in Australia

    The successful volunteer will need to be able to commit to 12 month term.

The Goodna Community Association is well-known for delivering the annual Jacaranda Festival in Goodna.

The fun, family festival celebrates the richness and diversity of the Ipswich City Council region with talent quests, sideshow alley, stall holders and more!

The organisation are now seeking to appoint three new Board members to hep deliver the Goodna Jacaranda Festival for 2019 and beyond.

Duties include -Attend monthly Board meetings (In person) -Assist with the planning and delivery of the Goodna Jacaranda Festival -Undertake sub-committee responsibilities and tasks as directed -Attend the Annual General Meeting -Provide updates and reports as required

Board terms are 12 months from the AGM which is generally held in March each year.
