    yes full training is provided, there is always an experienced volunteer or carer at each session to act as a guide to new volunteers.

Attend a family home along with other friendly volunteers to assist with basic exercises & stretches necessary for a young man after a car accident. The young man has locked in syndrome, which means he is aware of what's going on around him, but is unable to speak & has limited movement capabilities.
No experience is necessary. On the job training is provided by other volunteers & the team coordinator. The volunteer role is extremely flexible to fit in with your availability. Anyone is welcome to join the friendly team, weather you're retired, looking for work experience or just wanting to meet some new friends. From just 2 hours per week you could help make a difference to this young man's life! You are welcome to come along to observe & see what we do for this lovely local family.
