Conservation Volunteers Australia has partnered with individuals, businesses and governments in the conservation of our unique environment since 1982. In that time we have welcomed hundreds of thousands of volunteers from around Australia and across the world and supported their participation in a diversity of important projects to protect and enhance our environment. Conservation Volunteers welcomes people with a love of the outdoors and interest in the environment to get involved. Our volunteers include students, professionals, international visitors, retirees, in fact almost anybody can get involved. You don't need any prior skills or experience, just a reasonable level of health and fitness. Discover your local environment and make a difference to our natural habitat by joining us on one of our many single days projects. Volunteering is free and available every week of the year. Most people volunteer for just one day, but on some projects you can you can volunteer for multiple days at a time. For residential programs involving an overnight stay there are some small costs involved to cover transport, accommodation and meals etc. Go to Conservation Volunteer's website to find out what projects are available. and to book for a project if you wish. If you send an expression of interest through GoVolunteer, Conservation Volunteer will redirect you to their website to make a booking there.
Most volunteers are bussed to our projects from our Melbourne office at 162 Adderly Street, but there are some projects, such as volunteering for the Latrobe Wildlife Sanctuary, where volunteers can travel direct to the project location.
