Strawberry Hill at Barmup was the first farm in Western Australia and is a very important historic site that needs ongoing love and care, so we need a fair number of volunteers. The grounds are mixture of old European trees, cottage gardens, a vegetable garden, large lawn areas, a heritage orchard, and a most important waterway endemic plant re vegetation project. So, whatever your particular gardening interest you are sure to be able to make a valuable contribution.

There will always be useful work that you can do if you can wheel a barrow, use spade, rake or secateurs, If you would like to use, a chainsaw, and the edger you will need a garden safety certificate. There are also maintenance and landscaping projects from time to time and ongoing greenhouse potting and propagation work.
