About this opportunity
Looking for a rewarding volunteer role?
Do you have a passion for caring and helping others in need?
Want to join a dynamic and fun team?
Volunteer roles at Gateway Day Programs are varied and interesting and can include involvement in activities assisting with art, craft, music, dancing and even drumming programs or accompanying on outings and much more. You are welcome to bring your creative talents or simply help with planned activities.
You will be volunteering alongside a great team of people while our clients participate in a range of activities.
Whilst this role is fun and quite inspiring, it can also be a little challenging at times as some of the people we support can be very active and noisy while others have the use of a wheelchair. You need an open mind and a great sense of humour. If this sounds like you, you could become one of the many who fall in love with this highly rewarding program.
Positions are available Monday - Friday for 2 - 3 hours per week/fortnightly between the hours of 9am - 3.30pm.
You would be part of an amazing, dedicated team, supported by staff in all activities.
