Volunteer Gardener for - Low Maintenance Gardening. Become a volunteer and you can be a valuable member of the Village by helping fellow volunteers and public alike enjoy the Village Gardens. You can join some great and friendly teams of active, community minded people, who like to help others. You will be allowed plenty of flexibility in the gardening schedule each month. Little gardening experience is needed to be a volunteer Gardener. There is no age barrier, all you need is a kind heart and a willingness to help. Training is available "on the job " and the opportunity to compete against other non-profit organisations in the Carnival of Flowers Garden Competition. The Village is a Centerlink Approved activity and would suit the retired, Visa Volunteers, work experience and Centrelink applicants. A small caravan is available to stay onsite for short term participants.
