You will have the opportunity to take part in a diverse range of activities at many different locations in the Perth metropolitan area. We have projects at many bushland sites, along our beautiful coastline, up in the hills, and throughout Perth's beautiful wetland and river systems.

Join us for a day or two, or an entire week, and get involved in many fun, practical conservation activities such as planting native species, mulching, seed collecting, flora surveys, track work, fencing, marine debris collections and much much more!

Projects are run every weekday and on multiple weekends. Start and finish times can vary slightly between projects and days, but usually run from between 9.00am to 3.00pm with plenty of breaks. We welcome volunteers between 7 and 80 years of age. Children though, under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Free transport to projects is available from Pioneer Reserve in Fremantle, on the Phillimore Street side and just across the street from the Fremantle train station. The white hi-ace van with 'Conservation Volunteers Australia' logos all over it is very easy to spot and will pick up volunteers at 8.00am each week day morning and 9.00am on weekend projects.
