Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have Roy in Clayton who would like a volunteer with Ipad use skills and downloading music onto his Karaoke machine skills. He loves to sing and is retired from Engineering and the Navy. Fortnightly visits with a 12 month minimum commitment. You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Good English communication skills required however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language very welcome.
