About this opportunity
We are looking for people interested in working with students aged 12 – 18 in a casual, relaxed environment to support our Maker-space and Library. Activities vary daily and are ever changing and include as an example: Scrapbooking, crochet/knitting, cartoon drawing, general crafts, magic tricks, animation, digital photography, paper craft, jewellery making, building circuits (electronics), robotics and programming, 3D design and printing, playing cards, doing puzzles, how to build a website, movie making, playing board games, chess, drawing, building with Lego, virtual reality, etc., etc. You will be helping to set up and pack up used equipment and encouraging students to become involved in the activities. Ongoing support will be provided if necessary. You will have no responsibility for student behaviour or management. IDEAL FOR TEACHING OR COMMUNITY SERVICES STUDENTS!

No specific qualifications, a desire to work with young people (kind of a mentoring role), able to communicate well, work well in a team, relate well to all abilities and cultures.
