    A phone interview will be conducted with the Volunteer Manager, and then 3 trial shifts must be attended. After successful completion of trial shifts a Volunteer registration fee of $45 is payable, which includes uniform and name badge. A compulsory Induction session must be attended, which is generally on the first Tuesday of every month.

Volunteers are the backbone of providing quality care to our animals at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. Your contribution is an important part of the teamwork process in providing care to sick and injured wildlife. In this role you will be assisting to care for rehabilitation animals by:
• Cleaning outdoor enclosures (using pressure cleaner, raking etc.)
• Washing dishes
• General hospital cleaning
• Food preparation
• Assist in restraint of various water bird & turtle species for treatment
