Provide a fun social experiences for participants. Encourage and motivate participants in the program to participate in activities.
Empower participants to enhance and use skills they already have.
Foster a confidence and desire to acquire new interests, skills and experiences.
Support participants to engage positively with each other in the group.
Assist participants to identify potential recreational interests.
Encourage participants to pursue recreation interests independently.
Set up and pack up of the group.
We support individuals to plan and achieve their recreation interests to create a meaningful and enjoyable lifestyle that promotes their mental, emotional and physical health.
National Police Certificate *.
Individuals with a skill or interest in art and craft skills, music or cooking are keenly sought.
Genuine patience, respect and empathy for all participants, irrespective of background or current circumstances.
Genuine interest in assisting older people to enjoy a full life.
Display a friendly, helpful, non-judgemental attitude.
Desirable: First Aid Certificate, experience in lifestyle and leisure/recreation or equivalent & other relevant qualifications.
Mondays for 3 hours or more. This includes set up timesInterested in

You will be supported by the Recreational Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator.Reimbursement
All expenses will be paid for, you will not be out of pocket.
