This Centre provides secondary school education for students in Years 9 and 10 who cannot thrive in the mainstream. Students who attend the Centre have access to intensive, ongoing learning support from two specialist teachers supported by a team of counsellors who are on-site to assist with mental health and behavioral challenges. Students are provided with the opportunity to achieve the Record of School Achievement credential (Year 10) and to work towards other vocational goals.

As part of the school curriculum, students are encouraged to attend an outing every Friday. It may be to the movies, going on a bushwalk, indoor rock climbing etc. The purpose of this outing is to enhance wellbeing and promote friendships. We are seeking patient, able to relate to young people and understanding volunteers who are reasonably fit and enthusiastic to attend these activities and help to motivate the young people to participate.

Benefits:
- Experience working with young people of diverse backgrounds.
- Possibility of 'making a difference".
