    Thursdays from 9:30am - 1:30 pm. We ask volunteers to commit to at least one semester (6 months).

  • Training

    The volunteer will be inducted, and will have the option of attending CNLC Tutor Training programs.

  • Requirements
    • National Police Certificate *

    All volunteers at CNLC are required to undergo a National Police Check, which we process for you.

This position involves supporting the teacher and classroom staff with the Thursday Morning Literacy Pathways and Alive and Active classes, which are part of a long running, highly successful and meaningful program at CNLC for adults of all abilities. You will be working in a classroom setting, and supporting the group and individuals in the activities of literacy, art and creativity, music and computers and community lunch. It's a very lively, active and fun filled class with bright personalities and wonderful facilitators. You need to be comfortable working with adults of varying disability levels.
