    Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.

  • Reimbursement

    Only Management approved expenses will be reimbursed.

Woolmers has extensive gardens on the estate including a kitchen and vegetable garden. The 1840's Walled garden around the historic homestead was established by Thomas Archer 1st. in the 1840’s. Woolmers Walled garden is an ongoing project of research and understanding of this era, Project funded planting of replacement trees and plants will be undertaken. There are also 6 Settlers cottages that provide Tourist accommodation on the Estate with small individual gardens to maintain.
Tasks involved would be; general weeding and tidying of garden beds, light pruning, spreading fertiliser and mulching.
