A volunteer is required to visit residents and assist them with walking. You will need empathy and patients with the elderly.

VOLUNTEERS MUST HAVE A CURRENT FLU SHOT IN ORDER TO BEGIN THE INDUCTION PROCESS!

The government has recently changed vaccine requirements for aged care volunteers and workers. Volunteers must have at least one COVID 19 vaccination shot by 17th September. Additionally, they have strongly recommended disability support workers/volunteers get their COVID shots, and will consider making it mandatory by October 31st.
