We are currently seeking volunteers who live in Griffith or the surrounding suburbs that could come and help us in the shop. The store opens from 9am-4.45pm on Monday-Friday and 9-12 on Saturdays.

We urgently need some friendly people who can offer a smile and a welcome to our customers and who can provide them with an enjoyable retail experience whilst shopping in our store.

All you need is compassion a non-judgmental attitude and most of all a good and kind heart. We will train and mentor you at every stage. You will meet some wonderful people and you will feel a great sense of achievement when you have made a real difference to somebody’s life.

With busy lives it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. Volunteering is one of the best ways to make new friends, build relationships and acquire new skills. It can also provide a sense of purpose to people who are lonely or isolated and can increase self-confidence.

We are a very friendly group at the Griffith shop with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment with our work-we have great morning teas and get-togethers and love to laugh together.

We very much look forward to meeting you and you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome from our team - please come and join us!
