About this opportunity
Telecross REDi Callers assists vulnerable and isolated people by calling them regularly during an extreme weather event. Volunteers call clients to check on their wellbeing and remind them of important measures to keep cool during a heat wave. This is a dynamic, short-term volunteering opportunity. You will only need to contribute a few hours of your time when there is a heat wave. Training is provided during the summer season.
If you are a people person, have good communication skills and can dedicate some time to volunteer over the summer, we would like to hear from you.

Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)
