The guides take calls and call back callers on mobile phones at the office or work from home. Guides provide information and options for the issue that is causing distress. Guides are given training and use a manual when taking calls. Pain Link is a peer-to-peer service, and guides must have or have had personal experience with chronic pain. This is a community service, and as such, we ask no practicing health professionals or training/ studying health professionals to apply.
