Maintenance Supervisor

About this opportunity

No theatre experience is necessary as this is a behind the scenes role. Knowledge in the carpentry, building or handyman trades mandatory..The duties include:
• repair and maintenance of all facilities in and around the theatre,
• liaison with the local City council and other trades for maintenance issues,
• improving facilities in and around the theatre,
• identifying and rectifying safety issues.
We supply all tools , materials and consumables.
We are endeavoring to have additional volunteers assist with this position and occasional 'set building' . Looking forward to hearing from you if interested.


Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . Heavy Lifting . National Police Certificate *.

The role reports to the Executive Meeting managing the theatre as a NFP business. All our people are volunteers and are not paid. We do look to work together and help each other to run Garrick as smoothly as possible. Dependent on your experience , you can teach or learn in this opportunity.
