Materials Co-ordinator

Arts & Culture Long Term Guildford, WA

About this opportunity

Garrick Theatre is looking for someone to help us catalogue, organise, rearrange our inventory of set building materials, props ( for use in our productions). If you love to rummage about and finding things, identifying what they are , and finding a good spot to store them in our annex buildings cupboards & rooms, then this could be the job for you. This is a behind the scenes role that will have you finding new things as well as rare and retro stuff that we use in our productions. We are organising material partnerships with local second hand shops and businesses to help us with our requirements. If you like treasure hunts (finding things off a list) then its a bit like that!
This role requires to work both solo and within a team structure from time to time. We stage 5 productions a year and a season of one act plays as well. Getting bits & bobs for these is an integral part of making the shows a success. You must be good at organising and looking after stuff. Sound like you? Drop us an email. We would love to hear from you.
