About this opportunity
We offer an opportunity for both male & female persons with outgoing, pleasant personalities to assist on an occasional basis at our lovely little theatre. Garrick performs six seasons of shows a year to the paying public ,each lasting around 3 weeks. Performances take place mainly in the evenings with matinee on a Sunday afternoon. The staff can choose their preferred day / night they wish to do. . Duties include greeting people as they arrive , programme selling, showing patrons to their seats, ( the usher bit!) tea & coffee service at the shows interval , with light kitchens duties , wiping down benches and collecting cups etc. We encourage a friendly and casual atmosphere in which to function for all our volunteers and chance make friends with others in our theatre group. Ideal work experience for someone who wishes to enter professional public relations, theatre & cinema work etc.

Emergency evacuation training & First Aid Certificate, valid in WA, would be an advantage.
Flexible, Wednesday through Saturday Nights. 3 week seasons / 6 times a year. 7pm to 9.30pm. Some Sundays 1pm to 4pm.Good for

Garrick with provide full instruction and supervision. Previous experience desirable but not essential.Reimbursement
Non Paying positions. Any approved out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed by the theatre.
