A not-for-profit, community-driven organisation that explores sustainable living options, would love some Volunteers to work on the development and maintenance of their gardens.

They provide opportunities for people to discover about solar energy production and use, waste water recycling, water and energy efficiency, waste avoidance and management and organic gardening methods.

Garden Volunteers are involved with sowing, collecting, and propagating of individual plants. They may also be involved in specific tasks from time to time, such as building and installation of garden related items such as greenhouses and watering systems. Anyone who has an interest in gardening, growing produce, worm farming and sustainability are encouraged to join their team. Those with trade skills such as carpentry and general maintenance would also be most welcome here.

Volunteers are needed Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 2pm. You may be available for one or more days, any time you have to give will be greatly valued and appreciated. This Organisation sees great value in Volunteer involvement to help broaden community participation onsite and strengthen their links with the community.

If you would like to challenge yourself to take up a new sustainable action today and find out how easy it is to work towards creating a sustainable future for all, we would love to hear from you!
