The Woodworkers Museum and Interpretive Centre is a Not for Profit Organisation. The Museum was Opened in 1984 with the purpose of preserving the rich history of the Forestry Service and Timber Industry in Queensland. The Museum is owned by Gympie Regional Council and is currently Leased to Private Forestry Service Queensland a Not for Profit Organisation (PFSQ). The museum also educates the Public on sustainability of Native Forests and Plantations into the future

Do you have great customer service skills and some cash handling skills? We are looking for some help with welcoming duties. Work in a heritage site surrounded by glorious history.
Customer service and information for visitors into centre. Providing visitors with information on our area, cash handling, merchandising.
Volunteers are needed to help with the following tasks: welcome visitors, record visitor information, learn and share history and stories, assist in opening or closing the exhibition, maintain displays in the exhibition, and stock small gift shop.

Would you like to assist visitors to our region? Perhaps you have handy maintenance skills you can put to good use with our historic museum attractions?
