Our Warehouse is the backbone to all our 18 Op Shops in WA and we have stockpiles of all categories to restock the Op Shop. So, if you have a creative side - come in and see what we have to offer! As a HammondCare Life Story Writing Volunteer, your listening and writing skills will allow people who are living in our Residential Care Home at North Turramurra express precious aspects of their life. Your volunteer role is to capture, share, and record a person’s life stories, memories, and messages for loved ones. These biographies are then printed and presented to the Resident and/or resident’s family.
Spend time with an elderly person who would like a social visitor at our residential aged care home at Cardiff. We are looking for a caring individual who can sit and have a chat in Polish, reminisce, and talk about topics of interest with an elderly person living with dementia. Ideally, you will be able to speak Polish conversationally.
We are looking for some friendly faces to join us in assisting residents to and from our on site Chapel service. Share your skills with people living with dementia who are frail and elderly at our Residential Aged Care Home in Cardiff who enjoy a chat and sing a long.
As a HammondCare Afternoon Tea Volunteer, you'll be helping residents enjoy a variety of activities at our onsite engagement space 'The Hub'. Fortnightly visits will see you helping set up for a mini movie session, hosting a quiz or even serving some treats for afternoon tea to name a few. Come along and prepare for a variety of engagement as you volunteer your time at HammondCare Cardiff. You'll be helping to reduce social isolation.
