Conservation Volunteer

You will have the opportunity to enjoy the native flora and fauna of the area, only a short distance away from the John Forrest National Park, while learning some plant identification skills and weed control methods, including hand-pulling and cut & swab.

Girl Guide Leaders are friends, role models and mentors to our youth members. You do not require any Guiding experience, just a positive and caring attitude. This is one of the most rewarding and fun volunteer jobs around!

Mentor for Disadvantaged Youth

Our program helps disadvantaged youth overcome the barrier of the mandatory 100 monitored driving hours, so they can achieve their license. Our participants don’t have an adult in their life who is able to monitor their driving. They may have a parent who is physically or mentally impaired, they may be domestic violence survivors, immigrants/1st generation Australian or homeless. We are seeking driving mentors to help supervise our participants. PCYC provides the car and insurance.
