The Conservation Volunteer’s role is to assist with the preservation of the collection housed at Bankfoot House. You will work alongside a small team of employees and volunteers undertaking preventative conservation and collection management. Bankfoot House is a heritage-listed homestead at 1998 Old Gympie Road, Glass House Mountains, Sunshine Coast. It was built in 1878. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 11 December 2008.
The Friends of the Schoolmasters House are looking for people interested in converting their historical records to the digital format.Anyone who enjoys history and family history research or an interest in native flora and fauna maybe poetry writing;photography and video-making.Also helping design brochures and facts sheets.Skilled computer users welcome or novices will be taught the necessary skills as well as support for literary and art skills.
