Bus Driver - Mobile Shower and Laundry Vehicle

Do you have a Heavy Rigid or Medium Rigid Motor Vehicle driver's license and a desire to support the dignity of homeless people in Northern Brisbane by providing access to hot showers, laundry facilities and professional services to overcome homelessness? We need volunteers to drive a shower and laundry vehicle to and from the different service sites, ensure it is set up safely with the equipment ready to use by service users, and then pack up ready for the next day's operations.

Support Volunteer - Set Up and Pack Down

A volunteer is required who is able to set up/ pack down a hall with tables and chairs ready for the day of activities. This role is more suited to a person who can do repetitive lifting etc. Be versatile and able to work in a team environment. You will be joining a band of dedicated volunteers who provide support to Seniors. Games, morning tea, and fun are on the agenda. Help support our guests each Wednesday between 8.30am - 12.00pm. Start time : 7.30am Finish : after 12 noon .
