    Kookaburra Kids are seeking enthusiastic camp leaders to attend Kookaburra Kids weekend camps in QLD. We currently have 3 camps for 2018 supporting kids from 8-18 yrs of age. Weekend camps run from Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon. We are looking for adults over the age of 21 from all walks of life. Camp Leaders do not have to have any experience in mental health. The main goal of a camp leader is support kids to be kids.

    Looking for an opportunity to bring companionship to residents in a local aged care facility? Many residents experience loneliness due to a lack of contact with loved ones, or not having anyone left in their lives. Our volunteers bring cheerful and uplifting contact through regular visits, at least fortnightly for 45 minutes. We take care to match volunteers to residents, based on similar interests, and provide support to help ensure a positive friendship develops.
