  3. Twilight Toadbusting

    By supporting the Frogwatch organisation, we aim to reduce the numbers of Cane Toads, an invasive species of Australia. After an informative identification session we will head out to different environmentally sensitive sites including Botanical Gardens, Golflinks, RAAF Base in Winnellie and Lee Point to catch toads by hand and using nets.   5. Special Twilight Toadbust with guest speaker

    Join Conservation Volunteers Australia for a special Twilight Toadbusting evening at Lee Point Reserve by the beach. This is an important targeted area in which sand goannas and monitors reside. We will be supporting Frogwatch/Reptilewatch to help reduce numbers of Cane Toads in this specific breeding area. A Cane Toad expert will be present to provide a short information session on site before beginning the twilight toadbust!
