  1. Event Day volunteers - Run2Cure Neuroblastoma 2017

    A unique fun run for all ages and abilities, Run2Cure consists of a 1km Little Heroes walk for children 5 and under (where kids big and small are encouraged to come as their favourite super hero!), and timed 3km, 5km and 10km runs. A fun day out for the whole family, there will also be pony rides, a kindy farm, face painting, jumping castles and more.

    Volunteers are involved in search, storm damage, rescue and cliff rescue and other emergency services. Training is once a fortnight, with longer courses being run over a weekend which involves everything needed to know on search, rescue to enhance skills. A program is set on the type of courses that will involve the Unit every six months and includes areas such as: Map Reading, Ladder Slide, Mountain Rescue, Chainsaw Operation, 4WD, Land/Search Techniques, Forensic Search, Basic General Rescue.
