    SpinalCure Australia is Australia’s leading not for profit with a mission to find a cure for spinal cord injuries. Set up 20 years ago by three people with quadriplegia who were told they would never walk again, at the time finding a cure was considered an impossible dream however after two decades of lobbying, international collaborations and raising funds for key research projects, we have come to a time when a cure is now considered inevitable.

  5. Atlas Moth Restoration Project in Darwin

    The Atlas Moth has been found to reside in small populations around Darwin. Due to habitat destruction, numbers have decreased over time and Conservation Volunteers are working to restore important habitat sites. This project will include activities such as removing invasive plant species, photo point surveys and GPS mapping, planting food trees and general conservation tasks.

  6. Twilight Toadbusting in Darwin

    By supporting the Frogwatch/Biowatch organisation, we aim to help reduce and control numbers of Cane Toads in the Top End. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal.   7. Volunteer at Canadian Regional Park - Ballarat

    Come to Canadian’s Regional Park and explore the lovely native flora and fauna. Our team will be removing pine wildling to help restore ecological health and reduce fuel load surrounding the area. We will be focussing on pine wildling removal at multiple sites so ensure you wear your sturdy, walking shoes, bring your sight-seeing glasses and be prepared to handle tools such as hand saws and loppers.
